The Association's many events serve as meeting places for the membership to honor its best and brightest, discuss new legislation and issues of importance and revel in the excitement of intercollegiate athletics. The NCAA Convention has nearly a 100-year history as a meeting place for the Association's members. Other events, such as the Women of the Year Dinner and NCAA Hoop City, are more recent additions to the calendar that offer a chance to celebrate student-athletes and intercollegiate athletics as a whole.
