You might remember Jimmy Patsos. He's the Loyola (Maryland) basketball coach who, earlier this season, watched his team from the stands after getting upset with the officials. He did something even more bizarre Tuesday night. Patsos had two defenders shadow Davidson's Stephen Curry on every possession, no matter the scenario. Curry spent the entire game standing in the corner of the court. He was held scoreless, and Davidson won by 30. Patsos' rational: "We had to play against an NBA player tonight. Anybody else ever hold him scoreless? I'm a history major. They're going to remember that we held him scoreless or we lost by 30?" The Double-A zone knows what it will remember. 
CommentsRegardless of anyone's opinion of this (or any) coach's actions, I think "Is it time to find a new coach?" is an extremely inappropriate and irresponsible headline. I don't have a problem with the Double-A Zone expressing opinions and taking a stand, but for an official NCAA-sanctioned website to publicly question if an employee of an NCAA member institution should keep his/her job is highly inappropriate.
