Last week, a number of college freshmen were selected in the first round of the NBA draft. In fact, five of the first seven picks were freshmen and only five players who had exhausted their collegiate eligibility were taken among the first 30 picks. In today's conversation, Dr. Brand discusses the number of underclassmen headed to the NBA, the NBA rule that prohibits 18-year-olds from entering the league and why the NCAA allows underclassmen to try out for the NBA prior to the draft.
