Why Gender Equity Matters - Apr 28, 2008

This morning, I caught up with NCAA President Myles Brand at the 18th annual Gender Equity and Issues Forum. Dr. Brand attends this forum every year, and while he acknowledges that we've grown since his tenure at the NCAA began, he believes that we still have a long way to go in terms of educating people about Title IX and other gender-equity issues. Dr. Brand moderated a session yesterday afternoon called "Where Do We Go From Here?" and discusses it on our weekly podcast. Listen to Mondays With Myles

Maybe this young man will be the next Michael Jordan but if they do not make the proper plan up front they won't make it to the end game.
