After Eddie Sutton retired from Oklahoma State following the 2005-06 season, he had 798 wins and was heading off to battle his alcohol addiction. About a month ago, Sutton returned to take over a 4-8 San Francisco program that doesn???t hold much hope of going anywhere this season. Sutton lost his first four games at the helm before the Dons broke through with 60-59 win over Portland on Saturday. In Sutton???s first attempt at his 800th win, the Dons fell to Gonzaga last night in Spokane, 72-64. Sutton has been clear that he only intends to spend the rest of this season coaching at San Francisco, so most have speculated that he only returned to reach the 800-win club. Does it matter if Sutton is chasing personal glory? Or should we celebrate the fact that a coaching legend has returned to do what he loves most?
