The Women's Huskies game last night once again displayed the imbalanced officiating common to Huskies road games, in that the calls under the Orange basket were far different than those under the Huskies basket. Blatant knock-downs by Syracuse were totally ignored by the officials, as is usual when the Huskies are involved, so much so that Meghan Culmo, calling the action for CSTV, noted the imbalance twice with details. And when does a coach clap hands in mock applause when he perceived "acting" by Renee Montgomery following an offensive charge that knocked her solidly to the ground? That is uncalled-for, immature and just plain stupid. In the end, the Huskies prevailed as expected, despite deliberate and blatant one-sided officiating by the zebras.

I have recruited kids to play basketball in college that lived in very destitute situations that had to take the Greyhound to get to college...when they got out they still had bills.
