At The Frozen Four: It's A Power Play Thing -
posted by: Josh

We’re nearing the end of the second period and so far it’s been all about the power play. Early in the period, Boston College senior Brian Boyle converted on the power play to put the Eagles ahead, 1-0. In the past seven minutes or so, Michigan State has had three power play opportunities, including a two-man advantage, but hasn’t been able to find the net.

Goalie Cory Schneider and the Eagle defense have bucked down when they’ve had men in the box and that’s been the difference so far. Check out the video clip to watch the Eagles clamp down during a Michigan State power play.
