CommentsI just took the job at Western Carolina in media relations. I have only been here two weeks, but you wouldn't find more honest, hard-working and talented people anywhere in the country. When I was asked to find a student-athlete with musical talents I was led straight to Catamount softball player Lauren Ross. After seeing her video I was floored. The first time I heard her sing I thought, wow, this is something I would listen to in my car. Lauren is an amazing talent both on the stage and on the softball field. What a find! I am excited she will be doing a guest blog for the Double-A Zone and can't wait to read her insight. She never waivered in her agreement to do the blog or allow the video of herself singing being posted. She is just a sophomore and I look forward to working with her and watching her grow in the next two years. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YkMwRV5Dffs Best I got for you here.
